Services
Services We Provide
We offer speech/language therapy, physical therapy, and
occupational therapy to children in their natural environment
(i.e. Where they spend the majority of their day.). Our services
address the child as a whole, addressing their needs in the
classroom and in the home environments.
We work with children with a wide range of needs, from those
with extensive medical involvement, to children with a typical
developmental delay.
Below is a brief description of the types of services provided.
Feeding and swallowing therapy addresses a wide range of
problems. Skills targeted can be as basic as transitioning the
infant or child from the bottle to solids or more complex as
transitioning the child from a feeding tube to oral feeding.
Articulation therapy addresses the way a child produces a sound.
For example, ways to improve production of the /r/ or the /s/
sounds.
Language therapy addresses the way a child understands
his/her world and how well he/she expresses their basic wants
or needs. For older children, therapy may address how the child
comprehends and reads, processes information, or how they
combine words to carry-on a conversation or tell a story.
Gross motor therapy addresses movement using the large
muscles of the body (i.e. for running, jumping, etc.)
Sensory integration therapy addresses children with difficulty
processing the world around them. For example, a child who has
difficulty touching or feeling different textures, or a child who has
behavior problems in the classroom, because they cannot "block
out" other activities to maintain attention to task.

Fine motor therapy addresses a very wide range of skills
including how the child performs "activities of daily living" such as
dressing themselves and feeding themselves. Fine motor skills
such as handwriting, pre-writing skills, and more.
Visual motor and visual perceptual therapy addresses using the
hands and eyes together to accomplish a task, understanding
depth perception, the visual qualities of objects such as size and
shape, seeing objects in a complex background, and following
lines on a page.
